  • Bombay Bicycle Club, Des Moines, IA. We do it, and we have great figures every quarter...profit for the past 9 consecutive quarters.

  • Bars at the casinos in Atlantic City sells 40s. Nothing new.

  • No, not really. Why sell in bulk at a bar? More profit in smaller drinks bought numerous times. Guess you failed at business planning.

    • Actually if you set it up as a novelty item at a full bar it could work. You figure, a 40 costs 3 bucks, tops, at retail. If you're buying directly from a supplier it couldn't be more than 2. Since it's a novelty item it would be feasible to charge 5 to 8 bucks, depending on your market. Added to the rest of your liquor and beer sales, at worst it would be a loss leader.

      • Thursday is $4 40s at a restaurant I visit only on Thursdays. It's much nicer being able to enjoy it sitting at a restaurant patio than in shitty apartment.
