It was a game where you had little discs with designs on them, and you and a friend contributed an equal number to a stack and laid them out blank side down. Then you used a slammer (heavier disk, plastic or metal) and collected the ones that flipped and landed with the design side up. You decided before hand whether you played for keeps :p
Anyone not in his or her twentys probably wouldn't get this cuz POGS were really popular with kids circa 93-96. So if those years didn't fall during your elementary school years or perhaps middle school years (I was in like second-fourth grade when they were popular so not sure if they were big for older kids) its ok if you don't know what they are. If you're in your 20s and don't your childhood sucked and you lived under a rock. POGS were awesome!
