  • Everybody's gonna hate me for this but "boyfriend and me."

Submitted by Anonymous on Mar 21, 10 at 5:00pm
    • No, smart one. Proper English would be, "My boyfriend and I." Try not to correct grammar if you don't know it.

Submitted by MwkeMaelstrom on Mar 21, 10 at 5:26pm
      • Actually, "smart" one, it IS "my boyfriend and me." Would you say, "Do you want to have sex with I?" No. So you wouldn't say, "Do you want to have sex with my boyfriend and I." The addition of another indirect object does not change the grammar. "Do you want to have sex with my boyfriend and me?" Try not to re-correct grammar and be a snotty douche if you're going to be extra-wrong.

      • Do you say "Do you want to go to bed with I" or "Do you want to go to bed with me"? The addition of the "boyfriend" is not relevant to the proper usage in this sentence. \n\nhttp://www.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/myself.html

  • The fact that there is a huge debate about whether it's my boyfriend "and I" or "and me" shows that Bush's no child left behind act worked wonders. Btw, "and me" is obv correct

Submitted by Anonymous on Mar 22, 10 at 3:53am
    • Maybe we don't care about grammer, but we sure care about grammar. Oh, and spelling, too. Both are incredibly sexy. Mmm, nothing like a man (or woman, depending on what you like) who can use language.

  • It's my boyfriend and ME People always think it sounds correct to always use "and I" when really in this situation it's and me because it's a direct object so you have to use the objective case pronoun

Submitted by Anonymous on Mar 21, 10 at 9:02pm
  • 5:15, it is "and me." Think of it this way: you wouldn't say "Do you want to have sex with I?" That children, is all for today.

Submitted by voodoochild on Mar 21, 10 at 5:26pm
    • Excuse me, but it would be: "That, children, is all for today." Please learn proper punctuation.

Submitted by incendie on Mar 21, 10 at 8:32pm
    • You're not supposed to just "watch" you're supposed to participate / help out / get into the action and enjoy. Being on the sideline isn't a 3-some, it's either voyeurism, (which some people like), or exclusion, (which most people hate). So it's ANYTHING GOES or there's RULES of ENGAGEMENT. That simple.

The prepositional phrase in this case serves as an adverb modifying the predicate "have sex". \n\nOh and in this case it should have been "and me", using the predicate pronoun. If the ques
