God forbid my parents find out when I leave the house with my friends, I don't just stand outside just out of view.
This is why I would never add them. They have no sense of humor.
Grow up, mom. If you don't want to deal with the reality of what your children are doing, don't give yourself reasons to be faced with that reality. This is not news, this is logic.
Joining FB and friending your kids, nephews, nieces etc. is like following them to highschool and college. I'm 27, I deleted my MySpace account 5 years ago and soon, will delete Facebook. Why? because you grow out of it. Join Linked In and worry more about your professional career and holding real conversations over dinner with your children, and stop worrying about what they are doing on FB
Ah, you young retards. One day you won't be 20 any more. No seriously! It actually happens. You stop being so damn self absorbed as you age. Who woulda thunk.
i love all the people saying oh then moms shouldn't have facebooks. actually facebook was made for adults for them to get in contact with people they went to highschool/college with. MYSPACE is for the teenagers dumb fucks.
Well, its both your faults. Your daughter should have you on limited and you should realize your daughter is going to do stupid things since she's young. (Sidenote if she's in college this is esp. true, if she's in high school, start being a goddamn parent)
But yeah, people are stupid with what pictures go up, which is why I recently went through and deleted a lot of pictures. No one needs to see me drinking from a plastic cup or kissing another girl.
If you're fucking dumb enough to post that stuff on facebook you deserved to be found out.
No one gives a damn about how much of a "omg so cool partier" you are as much as your future employment will. Enjoy being fired or turned down for professional work because of stuff they can find by simply looking at your facebook, LMAO
so why DID you joing FB, you douchebag? Probably to see pictures or girls straddling guys. And then you saw that one of the girls was your precious snowflake. Karma, dude
ooohhh.... i like 3:25... and my mom's on my facebook, and it's totally fine. there's a conflict of action if you're ok with near-strangers seeing "those" pictures and not your mom. big deal... or maybe i just have a mom that remembers being young and let's the little stuff slide.
To 6:35PM - Really? I post all kinds of shit on my Facebook BUT I'm smart enough to only friend people I know. Oh, and my profile isn't PUBLIC for everyone to see. So therefore, no one who isn't suppose to see it doesn't happen along.
So go on and be paranoid ELSEWHERE!
chaaaaaaaances are, the pics of your daughter on facebook are showing her "good" side. i bet she's got plenty of shit up on redtube. (:
ps: my mommy is a fan of blunts on fb. we chill.
8.45 I'm about to turn 26 and you just made me depressed as hell about the future, just when I'm trying to convince myself I'm still young enough to have fun. Chill the fuck out, ok? The parent in the OP is old enough to have a daughter who must be at least, what, 16? If you want to be old before your time then go ahead but please don't try and drag me down with you.
You're too old for facebook if you've got a kid who is old enough to whore herself out. Maybe you should invest in some birth control and a chastity belt, dumbfuck.
Jesus 8:35 chill the fuck out, 'mkay?
Dear Mom,
Find the most embarrassing pictures from your little girl's child hood, post them and TAG her in all of them.
this is obviously the reason why parents shouldn't friend theyre children... and especially not INSIST on it
be happy cause what you dont know won't kill you
First of all there is NOTHING in this text that says it was sent by the mother. Secondly I can only assume the people saying parents shouldn't have face book are teenagers since anyone in their 20s probably has or has friends with kids. Not all parents are out to "ruin" their kids lives. you all need to grow up.
Yeh the mum has sent a text to the daughter saying effectively why do you have such dodgy photos on your facebook page, i don't want to see all of that...
and the daughter has though its hilarious and so posted the text on TFLN...
therefore daughter = OP
