1000 divided by 6 = 166.67 an hour. 70k/365(doubtful she works every day of the year though)=191.78 an hour thus a nearly 30 dollar per hour pay cut might actually not be worth her time (though of course 1000 dollars for 6 hours sounds great to me). wrong math 1:34. you didn't divide the 191.78 by 8 (or how ever many hours she works) to get the "per hour." you just figured out what she'd get in a day.
working 5 days a week and 8 hour days she makes roughly $34 per hour meaning in a normal 6 hour period she would make $204
this is based off of a 52 wk year minus 104 days for the weekends leaving 261 work days.
p.s. most people who make that kind of money are on salary anyway and not an hourly wage, so it really doesnt matter how many hours or days she works.
