  • Welcome to real life!\n\nI feel you, dude/gal. Although I have a job in my career, it doesn't pay near enough. I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to pay for an apartment. Without an apartment, I have to move back home and lose my job. But WITH an apartment, I know I'm going to go into debt. Lovely.

    • I know an 'engineer' who has been out of college for five years and still can't find a job--but nice try. It's pretty impossible for ANYONE to find a job today.

    • Um, not really. For instance, I majored in English, and my current job requires this degree. If I did not have this degree, I would not have this job. If I did not have this job, I would have to work a menial minimum wage job. At such a job, I would REALLY be poor.

      • I was an English major too but I wanted to be a teacher. Go into any corporation and ask the workers what they majored in. Maybe 10% will have a job that actually relates to what they're doing.
